Coastal Bedroom

The inspiration for this ensuite bedroom was derived from an incredibly colorful, white-lacquer-framed picture of a giant sea turtle. Dripping in amazing color with various shades of blues, teals, aqua and emerald, this magnificent piece of art presented a perfect focal point for the room.

Project Overview:

The walls are washed in a light teal paint color and a soft indoor/outdoor rug in beautiful seaglass colors help to anchor the room. A delightful wavy-striped fabric in cerulean blues, aqua, ocean greens, lemony citron and navy, filter light, provide privacy and add more color to the space.

To create the feel of a tropical bedroom oasis, we used casual- chic coastal bedroom furnishings with a hint of woven rattan and a coordinating cotton finish. Robin’s egg nightstands, emerald green lamps and accessories in teals and blues complete the look of coastal tranquility.
