VISION Design Win

Award-Winning Design Published

Barbara Hayman’s international office has been published in KBB, the official publication of the National Kitchen & Bathroom Association. The article showcases winners of the Decorating Den Interiors Dream Room Competition.

People's Choice Awards

Barbara Hayman Designs, a Decorating Den Interiors franchise took the top two honors in the recent International Dream Room competition. Barbara was placed first and second in the People’s Choice segment, where the public judged nearly 300 rooms in 12 categories. More than 30,000 votes were cast over a two-week period.

Barbara was featured in the Route 422 Business Advisor.

A Successful Year

Barbara McInnis Hayman has appeared in the news recently for winning awards at the Decorating Den Interiors 49th Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida! Barbara’s window treatment and foyer design won awards in 2018 but visit our portfolio to see more of her award winning designs!

Multiple Design Awards

Barbara received three design awards in an international design contest for outstanding interior design work.  The awards were presented at the Decorating Den Interiors 48th annual conference held recently in St. Louis.

Barbara Hayman was presented with the People’s Choice Awards for two room designs that were judged first and second overall in an online voting competition that drew 20,000 votes for nearly 300 rooms in 11 categories. Her winning rooms were both in the miscellaneous category.

Cool Comfortable Consultation

McInnis-Hayman  provided interior design help to her family and friends long before she opened her franchise into 2011, and moved her business from her home to her new studio.

McInnis-Hayman was born in Jamaica and moved to the US to further her education. She earned a degree in Communication from Villanova University and then worked in the pharmaceutical industry, all the while dreaming about a full-time career in design.

McInnis-Hayman has a loyal following, adhering to her tagline: “Making the world more beautiful, one room at a time.”

“She came in and figured out my style,”  said Carol Wallace of Pottstown, who became a client about a year ago. “She’d do something and then I’d have her do something else. She did lots of things:  curtains, drapes, furniture,”  said Wallace, who is taking the one-room-at-a-time approach with Hayman’s services. “I love everything in my home that Barbara has designed.”

Professional Honors

Design professional Barbara McInnis-Hayman, owner of the Decorating Den Interiors franchise serving the Philadelphia area and surrounding suburbs (now working in Orlando, FL) was honored for business achievement and sales at her company’s 46^th  annual conference and supplier market held recently in Jacksonville, Fla.

McInnis-Hayman received the Director’s Award for 2014 sales that put her among the top interior design professionals in the company, which is North America’s largest home furnishings and interior design franchise business.
