East Coventry interior design professional honored at international conference
Easton, Md.— Design professional Barbara McInnis-Hayman, owner of the Decorating Den Interiors franchise serving the Philadelphia area and surrounding suburbs (now operating in Orlando, FL) was honored for business achievement and sales at her company’s 46th annual conference and supplier market held recently in Jacksonville, Fla.
McInnis-Hayman received the Director’s Award for 2014 sales that put her among the top interior design professionals in the company, which is North America’s largest home furnishings and interior design franchise business.
“I’ve returned from conference with an extensive library of before and after high resolution digital photographs featuring the top room makeovers that were discussed in design sessions, which makes for an ideal workshop or seminar program for organizations looking for meeting programs. I have great ideas we can share,” McInnis-Hayman says.
“We represent some 100 home furnishings suppliers and offer our customers furniture, case goods, accessories, lighting, floor and wall coverings, draperies and other hard and soft window treatments,” she explains. “We bring samples directly to the client’s home or office, provide complimentary design services and personally oversee projects through installation.”
Decorating Den Interior’s room makeovers have been featured in such publications as Good Housekeeping, Arabella—the Canadian magazine of art, architecture and design, Better Homes and Gardens, Woman’s Day, House Beautiful and House and Garden. In addition, the company has been featured in a variety of design segments on HGTV and The Discovery Channel.
Decorating Den Interiors was founded in 1969 and has interior design professionals and decorators throughout the U.S. and Canada. McInnis-Hayman has owned her franchise since 2011.
